Graphic design invoice template
Design clients pay for deliverables, so name them. “Logo design” is fine; “Logo design — 3 concepts, 2 revision rounds, final files” is better.

What to put on a graphic design invoice
- Each deliverable by name
- Included revision rounds, and extra rounds on their own line
- Hourly work with the number of hours
- Stock images, fonts or other licenses you bought for the client
Bill extra revision rounds as a separate line. It shows the client the scope they agreed to without an argument.
Questions
- Should I bill per project or per hour?
- Both fit. Use quantity 1 and the project price for fixed-price work, or hours as the quantity for hourly work.
- Can I invoice clients in another currency?
- Yes. Choose the currency at the top of the form; amounts are formatted for it on the PDF.
- Can I add reverse-charge wording for EU business clients?
- Yes. Put the wording your tax authority requires in the notes, add the client’s VAT number under their details, and set the tax rate to 0.
